How about a dynamic weather system, or one based on the computer's clock?
Snow, rain, thunderstorms...it's in Indiana, so why not Tornadoes, too?

Weather
Re: Weather
an awesome idea, but a lot of work and fx overhead...but definetly a cool idea for a bigger FZ game.

As if the zombies aren't bad enough...
Talk about a glutton for punishment!
hehe
I like the 'weather' atmosphere and some implications coming from that, but Tornadoes?!!
(one implication is apparent if zombies are more active at night, would they also be more active on a really cloudy day?)

Re: Weather
I don't think anyone'd be very active in a tornado. Either that or learning to fly...

Yes, I use Raptr. Prefer it to XFire.

I'd make a good spy. I always want to know what everyone else is doing. Being cooped up in an asteroid doesn't sound fun though...

Re: Weather
Improved fog effects would go far to make the game creepier, especially at night. On the one hand, it would muffle sound, hinder the effectiveness of light sources and make surfaces slippery, but on the other hand it would help the player's stealth mode. Then again, you might end up putting your foot in zomb's mouth by accidently walking right into a gaggle of equally fog-hidden zombies.
"Munch-munch-munch!"

Anybody have a decent recipe for mouse?
