simulated combat

Post by Watchman » Thu Nov 07, 2013 4:35 am

I've searched and searched, in fact, spent the last few hours scanning the forums and picking up tidbits of info I hadn't caught onto on my own.

While I notice people have see-sawed about whether they want to watch the simulated combat or not, and all the associated various stuff to go with it, I can't find anything about my complaint... okay, not complaint. My wish for a feature, or two, to go with the simulated combat while it's running.

-while I'm watching it, I'd like to know which specific combat is being fought. i.e. what system and which fleet of mine.
-it'd would also be "nice" though clearly not necessary to see the planet damage the same as in the regular tactical combat.

You're out of sensor range. There is a non working tech (last time I checked) that will enable you to watch the battles. If you are in range.

Thats what I get for skimming. People have asked for more data in the combat summary screen.

An option for old SOTS1 style quicker combat resolution for non player battles would be nice too.

LOL. I just wanted to know which of my battles it is I'm watching play by. It's fun to watch for me. But it would be nice to know which of the 2-6 battles and which of the 1-3 fleets involved in each battle it is, and if my fleet is actually damage the enemy planets or if my planets are being damaged.

So basically you would like an info bar at the top for place and fleet info?
