Re: RACE: HIVER
This is a bit of a lore question but also sort of an art question, but I notice in a very large amount of Hiver art, the four lower limbs are depicted as ending in digitless insectoid limbs, even though Hivers are supposed to have clawed digits on their back legs and opposable digits on both their upper arms and their middle/forelegs (and indeed, can stand bipedally, if I remember rightly, to use them if they need to) and I found it odd that this depiction is so common.

Re: RACE: HIVER
Artists pretty much draw what they want to, regardless of Lore, unless you get one with exceptional skill in imaginary anatomy.
Juan Diego Dianderas is the best 2D artist I've worked with over the years to capture Hiver emotions, personalities and expressions. For anatomy, the best 2D artist for SotS is Lindsay Wakefield. You'll find their drawings used a lot in the Hiver chapter of the Sword of the Stars Premium Lore Book.

I figure I'd share this as well. It was an idea I couldn't get out of my head so I commissioned a friend (Chris the Blue) to draw it a while back. Presenting: Princess Yellow Rose!

I like to think the flag was a gift from a nearby human settlement.

Re: RACE: HIVER
Recently commissioned JD Dianderas himself to draw a Hiver princess. Same one as the last pic; I just love how he's able to put so much personality into the bugs.
