Probably the same way that all those Hivers did.

Retrievers are pretty scary.

You'd have to ask a more specific question. There is a lot of new Lore associated with the Pit.

Ok then. Three questions spring to mind.

1. What is going on with the other Suul'ka, particular the Bloodweaver*, Siren and the Eldest.

2. How has the winter war affected the races relationship/attitudes towards the liir.

3. How have the races responded to the Loa.
I'm particularly interested in the liirs response**, but I am curious about the other races as well. If this has already be answered elsewhere, links would do fine.

* specifically, when did he make/start the pit, and does he still vist.
** from memory the liirs relationship with AI was a bit distant in sots one, they weren't very good at mecha-empaty or something. Has this changed?

Am I the only one who wishes there was some epic levels of novelization going on of the SOTS 'verse?

WTB more like The Deacon's Tale!

I just imagined a retriever breaking into my house and stealing all my cheese. . .
Umm yeah, so, beyond the usurper, will we see more suul'ka rising in the future? I can just picture an elder, maddened from the constant VN raids taking his/her sea cheese, deciding enough is enough.
Must be some pretty good cheese.
I'll stop now.

Sea cheese? Have you not played The Pit? Liir cuisine is all about the soda pop and sea cucumbers.

Yes, I have seen, and tasted, the Liirian sea cucumber, but surely our fishy friends would appreciate mankind's greatest creation, yes?
Ok, now, leaving my cheesy humor behind, will we see new Suul'ka in the future? or are the Liir prepared to prevent another "rise of the Usurper"?

I don't know about chocolate I must admit.

Us humans sure enjoy it, but just looking at it's effects on dogs and cats, our dear sweet product has a bad habit of being, well, ...

... let's say rather lethal to some other species in large quantities.

Edit: Also the talk of both human and aliens food suddenly bring the mental image of an intergalactic/inter-empires/racial "Iron Chef" contest...

I want to see the intro to this show, and the looks on the chef's faces when they are presented with an exotic animal/fruit/vegetable from other worlds...
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure...

I have a hard time imagining a liir cooking something in it's natural environment.

Cooking is just as natural to Liir as it is to every other sentient race. You don't make starships if you can't make fire.

Very hot fire, at that.

Though that kind of makes me wonder how Liir furnaces work.

Run electricity though metal to heat it maybe? When you google how to cook underwater you get a lot of people wondering about spongebob.
