A Steam hub for the Kerberos Community

In the heydays of SotS Prime, xfire was host to a large an robust community of players. The Official Unofficial SOTS Chat room was a place to meet with fellow players, set up games, and talk about SOTS and other fun things.

The all-clear flag hasn't flown quite yet, but the game has come quite a long way since launch, and while several groups exist on Steam already, I wanted to give our forum community a solid foothold in Steam space. The SOTS ][ Official Unofficial Group has opened its doors, and I invite you all to come on in and use the group as a place to get together, or just shoot the breeze.

*Disclaimer: Officership will only be going to Kerberos staff and a few select people who have proven they won't abuse their power. With this in mind, the Steam group is an extension of the Kerberos Forum Community. That is to say, remember, this is not teh internets, and you'll be expected to follow the same behavior in the chat room as is expected of you here. Failure to comply will result in your name being given to Doombot

With that out of the way, and with the new update working its way through Steam's speedy distribution, I hope that we can spread this thing to as much of the community as possible. See you online!

Hey everyone, just to clarify, to join the group all you need to do is go to thegroup page and click the big join button.

To check out the chat room, once you've joined the group, go to the "group" tab of the friends window, and click on the little arrow to the right of the group name. Come join us!

Sorry for the shameless bump, but this kind of thread doesn't get many replies. So far the group has 36 members, and tonight we're trying to pull together some multiplayer games for the weekend.

I'm still very new all things being considered, but I joined this group as well. Lesse what happens once I have some time off again If anyone wants to help me build a deck and shed, then re-tune my motorcycle, I'll have free time sooner
